InPreflight Pro Updated for Adobe InDesign Document Checking and Preparation
InDesign provides preflight information, but its non-comprehensive and dispersed nature can result in the need to devote many hours of checking prior to publication of complex documents. Designed for service providers, printers, ad agencies, designers and publishing houses, InPreflight provides information about an InDesign document's fonts, colors and links, with user-defined preflight settings employed to spot problems. InPreflight adds to the functionality provided by InDesign itself to ensure that costly production errors are avoided during output. Providing a range of user-defined settings, InPreflight can concentrate all necessary output info in one place and reveal some link attributes otherwise unavailable in InDesign. For example, it indicates whether image files are CMYK or RGB and TIFF or JPEG. InPreflight allows users to preflight and package multiple documents. Among other abilities, it can collect all files into one folder, eliminating the need to collect the same links multiple times for each design.
InPreflight lets users send collected jobs automatically to FTP, WebDAV, MobileMe and other remote and local destinations through seamless integration with Zevrix Deliver and Deliver Express. Deliver is a standalone file delivery solution that features automatic email notifications, file compression and encryption and detailed delivery history.
InPreflight Pro 2.11 for Mac InDesign CS3-CC can be purchased on the Zevrix Solutions site for $99.95, with a Studio edition that doesn't support batch packaging priced at $59.95. A demo version is also available for download.
