Digerati University Provides Podcasts on Graphics and Design Topics

The fourth podcast in a series from the Maine Media-Arts Project covers visual effects creation as well as digital art news and design tips. The Maine Media-Arts Project (MEMAP) is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing students in the state of Maine with free in-school workshops on such topics as digital imaging, computer animation, multimedia and graphic design.

Digerati University is an outgrowth of this, and provides a regular selection of podcasts, tutorial videos and news items related to graphics and new media, served up from a Maine perspective. Recent videos have been provided by Russell Brown, covering Photoshop CS2 Camera RAW and Bridge workflow. According to the site, its podcasts are currently among the top 50 on the iTunes Music Store listings. This would certainly indicate that this is a growth area for providers of audio content related to the graphic arts and design markets.
