| Description: | This needs no explanation. I have no,idea if the VW camper has the same iconic status un the USA (or elsewhere) as it does in Europe. Here it is one of the definitive symbols of the 60's. The same goes for the Aldermarston CND symbol on the door. This is my era. (I took part in the first Aldermarston march). I had huge fun 'painting' this plain orange and white VW and trying to make the additions look like they really belong! :o)) |

Well David ... I just found this challenge last night ... and being that yesterday was our nations birthday and I spent the day picnicing in the intense heat ... I was beat and too tired to think ... I'm gonna have to put my thinking cap on ... yes we here in the states recognize the VW van and the symbols just the same as you do there and being that my teen years were spent in the 60's I can honestly say that this is very impressive and boy does this take me back. Kudos to your magnificent paint job David!!!

I'm a 60's baby too ...yes of course I remember the VW minivan ......'ell I grew up with trip lights in the house.
Me ...just a baby ...listening to 60's music while staring at strobe lights...hmmm ...that explains alot ;)

BRILL!!!! but how has no-one mentioned austin powers and his: "Do I make you ORANGE TRIP?".............maybe they can;t stand him either.......anyway, we did have a vw mini bus, but it was blue and white and boaring!!! it was for business...........WELL DONE DAVID...LOVE IT!!!!
