Each Philter Phrenzy is based on free or commercial Adobe Photoshop-compatible plugins, actions, brushes or imagery. Such add-ons provide a wide range of options to automate or extend what's possible within Photoshop-compatible applications.
To participate, begin by downloading and installing the current plugins, actions, brushes or imagery and then experiment to see what they're capable of and how you can best employ them within either an original work of your own, or one you have permission to submit. At the end of each round the entries will be judged by Graphics.com staff, with three that we feel best make use of the capabilities of the monthly add-on, in the context of the image, selected as winners. The creators of the three winning images will receive one year of access to the Mediabistro On Demand video training library. The three winners will also receive copies of the add-on, if there is a commercial version, or another commercial add-on or product from the developer, if one is available.
