Use Curves for a Funky Effect in Photoshop

Download curves.tif and open it in Photoshop. Press F7 to show the Layers palette. Click the Create New Fill or Adjustment Layer button and select Curves from the drop-down menu. In the resulting Curves dialog box, click the horizontal grad to put the dark end on the right, add and drag points to create the curve shown at left and click OK.
