Version 1.5 provides non-destructive photo processing for RAW, JPEG, and TIFF image files.
PhotoStudio Darkroom provides non-destructive image processing tools for adjusting such image attributes as white balance, exposure, noise, hue and saturation, brightness and contrast, and curves and levels, as well as applying a range of color effects. Lens and chromatic correction tools fix barrel, pincushion and perspective distortions, with correction tools also provided for red-eye, spots and patches. A “recipe” feature lets users apply the processing performed on one image to other images with a single click. All image adjustments are saved as a set of enhancement parameters and are not applied to the original image.
New in 1.5 is a built-in photo browser, the ability to import from a camera or removable drive, automatic red-eye removal, one-click spot and patch removal, recipe-driven copy and paste, and the ability to convert RAW to Adobe DNG.
PhotoStudio Darkroom 1.5 can be purchased for $99.99 on the ArcSoft site. Trial versions are also available for download.
