Win: Asiva® Photo for Windows is Now Available

Shapiro Consulting Group, Inc. (SCGI) of Austin, TX announced today it has released the Windows® 2000 and Windows® XP version of Asiva® Photo. The release number is 1.2.0, bringing the Windows version current with the Mac OS version. Asiva Photo allows users to make color corrections and enhancements in all 16-bit per component processing without masking, allowing for more natural looking results.

Both Windows and Mac OS versions have similar features. All Operations (Effects) are applied to an image using highly adjustable maps on the Hue, Saturation and Luminance components. This alone gives Asiva Photo power not found in any other color correction application. You can apply Operations to an image globally or in resizable and movable regions.

Like the Mac version, Asiva Photo for Windows will include an additional CD-ROM with a series of 10 QuickTime® tutorials. The tutorials explore the inner workings of the program, from an overview to detailed descriptions of each Operation.
