textPuppet® is software for producing automatic 3d character animation for virtual personalities, in conjunction with Curious Labs Poser® software. It is also a highly configurable, high quality, standalone text-to-speech synthesizer, and is available in eight languages. For Windows only.
Using a speech synthesizer is much faster and easier than recording live audio. You never have to worry about special equipment, getting the right actor, or background noises, and you can make changes in a minute because you only have to type in your text to generate audio files and animation scripts. It currently works with Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.
