Win: Xara Launches Xara3D 5

Xara has announced the release of a major new upgrade to their popular 'slimware' 3D package, Xara3D, which can be used to create 3D headings and logos, animated or static, in seconds.
Xara3D has already provided hundreds of thousands of web site owners with a fast and simple means of producing compact 3D graphics for their sites, either from TrueType fonts or imported 2D metafiles. It offers a wide range of controls over the 3D graphic, including the extrude depth, lighting, bevel, font, shadow, animation type, speed and direction, foreground and background color and texture.
V5 is a major upgrade, new features include the ability to export to Flash, create 3D screensavers, new animation types and the ability to apply all attributes, including animation types, on a per character basis. Although V5 considerably extends the capabilities of Xara3D it also makes the product even easier to use with the introduction of styles that can be copied from any existing file (and there are over 600 included on the CD).

The free trial version can be downloaded from the Xara site. Xara3D 5 can also be purchased with immediate download from Xara's secure site at a cost of just $39, or from selected resellers. A CD is sent to everyone who purchases with a backup copy of Xara3D, plus over 600 example files, over 800 textures, 50 TrueType fonts and a tutorial movie.
