First off someone else put me up to this but it seems like a good idea. So the idea is to put up a real picture of yourself so we have a face to put with the usernames.

This one is two years old. I'll have to put up a newer one soonish.

LOL....

If my memory serves me well (which, due to the liquid libations, it may not) that's not really me! It's someone that looks a lot like me.....

The red nose sort of gives it away, you think?

Okay, okay here is me,self portrait! I love digital cameras, you take 100 or so and then throw away all the bads ones, which is all of them, but I choose the better one, I am sooooo not photogenic! This is a five minute ago picture!!

Ha, you look amazingly human graphichick!
Nice even...
I've always been interested in how people see their own photos, they are of course the reverse of the 'you' you see in the mirror everyday, all your moles and wrinkles and the part in your hair are the opposite of how you 'know' yourself. To others your photo looks normal, but never to yourself. I used to show my wife reversed images of herself to get her to see them as she would expect to see herself.
Confused?
Not as confused as me...

anyway dug this up of me.

Thanks for sharing Graphichick! I suspect a better angle would make you "more photogenic". icon_smile.gif

Nice photo Jos and I like the angle you used on it too. icon_smile.gif

This is Jos around the shop? Nice blend Jos. I'm guessing you left the camera in the same spot each time and set a timer then moved yourself? Then blend in PS?

Exactly TC!
The camera needs to really firmly tripoded, then drag and drop the photos holding the shift key to form a stack of perfectly aligned images. I find it easiest to adjust the transparency of the layer you want to rub through with the eraser tool( softish medium brush) helps to see where you erase.
Great effect, works outside as well...

have fun

Love those shots Jos. I know how you did the multi-Jos one, but there looks to be some trickery in the portrait shot with the computer too. Clever stuff. icon_smile.gif

Took around 40 photos this morning - none even half decent, so this is a couple of years old ... don't think I've changed all that much.
