Call for Entries: The CLIO Sports Awards

Founded in 1959, the CLIO Awards has grown into the most recognized international awards competition for advertising, design, digital and communications. Last year's event received more than 10,000 entries, with the majority originating outside the US. In an acknowledgement that marketing and advertising have grown exponentially in size and complexity, the organizers have launched several extensions of the awards: CLIO Image, CLIO Keyart, CLIO Healthcare, CLIO Music and CLIO Sports.

Creative work first appearing in public between January 1, 2015 and May 31, 2016 that promotes athletes, leagues and associations, media and news outlets, teams and brands is now being accepted for the third annual CLIO Sports Awards. Entries vying for Shortlist, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Grand awards will be judged by a panel of top industry executives, with the winners being announced at the awards gala on July 7, 2016, in New York City. More information is available on the CLIO Sports site, with the early entry deadline set for February 19.
