Call for Entries: The 2016 CLIO Awards
Founded in 1959, the CLIO Awards has grown into the most recognized international awards competition for advertising, design, digital and communications. The 2015 event received more than 10,000 entries, with the majority originating outside the US.
Creative work first appearing in public between January 1, 2015 and July 31, 2016 in such categories as Branded Entertainment, Design, Print and Digital is now being accepted for the CLIO Awards, with this year seeing the addition of Innovation and Product Design categories. The CLIO judging process is known for its democratic approach to recognizing creative excellence. Fewer than 20% of submissions, within a media type, survive the first two rounds, from which juries re-evaluate the work to determine Gold, Silver and Bronze statues along with the Shortlist. Less than 5% of all entries receive a statue, and less than 1% receive the Gold CLIO.
Entries will be judged by a panel of top industry executives, with the winners being announced at the 57th annual CLIO Awards on September 28 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
