Animago Award and Conference Event Set for October in Munich

The animago Award and Conference event, devoted to 3D animation and still imagery, visual effects and visualization, is organized each year by the German-language DIGITAL PRODUCTION magazine. Last year's conference in Potsdam-Babelsberg attracted almost 1,000 attendees and was the venue for bestowing awards to the winners of the competition, selected from among the projects submitted from more than 58 countries. This year marks animago's 20th anniversay and will see it move to Munich, with the conference again offering keynote addresses, lectures and workshops geared to an audience of international experts, and film and media enthusiasts.

The animago Award and Conference event will take place on 27-28 October, 2016. Entries can be submitted in such categories as Visual Effects, Game Cinematic and Short Film beginning March 1 and ending June 30.
