Creative Cloud Connection Now Finally Available
Creative Cloud members have been waiting impatiently for some time for Adobe to deliver the promised ability to sync desktop files with those uploaded to the cloud storage that's part of the service. Well, the app is finally available for download in a "preview version," which is to say that it still has a long way to go to meet the expectations of users. The Creative Cloud team blog covers what's available in this first iteration. Once installed, the app creates a local folder on your computer with its content matching everything stored on your account on the Creative Cloud Files page. Current functionality includes file sharing (although not folder sharing), file preview, the ability to manipulate layers on a Photoshop document, paging through an InDesign file or generating a PDF of your work to share with others. Noteworthy is that only Mac OS 10.7 and 10.8, and Windows 7 and 8 (both 64 and 32 bit versions), are supported. Vista users can apparently go pound sand.

Create Now Live Date Change
Originally scheduled for December 5, this live event has now been bumped to December 11. Beginning at 10:00 PST, Jeffrey Veen, Vice President, Products, will demonstrate not only new Creative Cloud-only Photoshop features but the upcoming team version of Creative Cloud, as well as how to "explore ways to take your design skills from print to online and mobile." This will be followed by several hours of presentations that include the likes of design agency Karlssonwilker, animation director Justin Weyers and Mr. Photoshop Tips himself, Scott Kelby. You can sign up for the event on the adobeeventsonline.com site.

Downloading Edge Inspect
